We deeply care about your health. For this reason, we have reduced office hours.
Please keep in mind that everyone doing something for Selfnet is a volunteer and student her-/himself.
Becoming a member
With a valid rental contract from a Selfnet managed residence it is possible to become a full member of Selfnet online.
If you have a rental agreement of either Studierendenwerk Stuttgart or VSSW e.V. you can already apply for the full (passive) membership completely online through our registration.
It is important that you use exactly the same information in our registration as you already gave to the landlord (Studierendenwerk / VSSW)! Otherwise we will not be able to check your identity and thus we need to verify your rental contract manually. If this is the case please follow the instructions for subtenants in the next paragraph.
If you are a subtenant (or the online registration failed to check your identity) please continue the online registration with the checkbox “I am a subtenant” marked. At the end of the registration you will be asked to upload your rental contract. If you fail to provide your rental contract there is no way we can activate the network connection in your room. After checking the contract manually (may take a few days), we will then send you a link via e-mail. Using this link, you can become a full member of Selfnet and start using the services of Selfnet.
